Jesus Time: We are learning about Pentecost.
Math: Working with Tangrams and learning how to fill in designs and make our own designs.
Also, working on making a pictograph.
Make one at home of your families favorite foods.
Reading/Writing: Our theme this week is The Amazing Ocean. We will be reading Fish Faces and continuing to talk about the amazing creatures God has made. Our new sight words this week are: has and look. Try forming sentences at home using our sight words and talking about insects or fish. We are talking about opposites in our writing as well. For example: He is small. She is big. Come up with more opposite words as you sit around the dinner table!
We now have caterpillars in our classroom. We will be observing how they grow and change into butterflies over the next few weeks.
