Newsletter April 16th-20th

Jesus Time: This week we are learning about Jesus and how he appeared to his disciples, the two women, a crowd of 500 and other appearances.  We discuss how Easter is not just one day or 40 days but how we can celebrate each day that Jesus died and rose for our sins.  Take some time to discuss some of these events with your child.  He is Risen!  Alleluia!
Math: Learning left and right!  Very tricky -- practice with your child at home.  Singing Father Abraham is always a good song to reinforce left and right sides!   Also, we measured objects in the classroom using cubes.  Find other objects to measure the length or width at home.
Reading/Writing: Our theme this week is Beetles!
The students seem super interested in learning about insects and beetles wanting to know more about God's creatures.  We are thinking of questions and writing about beetles.
Our sight words are: she and he
With letter formation, practice writing your sight words in a bowl of rice tracing the letters.

Don't forget to bring your Chapel Offering on Wednesdays
