Look Mom - NO Hands!

Jesus Time:  We are learning about Peter and the Ethiopian.  Philip shared what he knew about the Bible to someone who did not know about Jesus and also Philip used water to baptize the Ethiopian. Remember to celebrate your child's baptism birthday and share what happened on that special day.
Math Time: Working on identify coins.  Trying to see if your child can tell you the different coins and counting by 1s, 5s, and 10s, with different coins.  Also, we are continuing to work on writing our numbers.  Practice starting numbers at the top and using their best handwriting skills.
Reading/Writing:  We are starting our last reading unit: Show What You Know
Our book this week is What Do You Know!
Our new sight words for the week are: with and my
We are celebrating the year of new things we learned and what we are still practicing.

Work on rhyming words at home.  There was a packet of words sent home around report card time, if you need new flash cards please ask.  This is a skill that will be tested over the next week.
