Jesus Time: The Lord's Prayer

Writing/Reading: Our theme this week is Neighborhood Workers.  This week we are reading Alicia's Happy Day.  Continue to work on sight words are, for, you.  

Happy President's Day!
Ask your kids about the Presidents we have been learning about at school.

Valentine's Day Party February 14th 10:30 a.m. - Noon
Please send a valentine for each student in class
A class lists was sent home in Friday Folders,
if you need another be sure to ask me.
We will not have P.E. Tuesday morning.

Candygrams due to the front office Monday!
Send your child/children a candygram delivered on Valentine's Day

Earthquake Drill
Drop, Cover and Hold On
We are practicing our earthquake drill during school Tuesday.  
Ask your child about the drill.

Friday, February 10th Casual for a Cause
Bring $1 and enjoy wearing your casual clothes to school. 

Valentine's Day Party Tuesday, February 14th
We will send home a class list this week. 
Please have a valentine for every student.
We will be decorating bags to put the valentines in during the day.

**Reminder** 
Please double check to see if your child has a snack 
and that it is sufficient for our snack time.
If you would like to donate boxes of Rice Krispies treats to the classroom
for those times when students forget their snacks that would be greatly appreciated.

SAVE THE DATE FOR THE ZOO
Tuesday, February 28 
All three Kindergarten classes will be going to the zoo together.
Each class will go to the Children's Zoo and the Penguin House.
With three classes attending together, 
we will need to extend our dismissal until 12:15.
Parents and siblings are welcome to join us on this field trip.  
If you choose, you and your child may leave from the zoo.
More details and permission slip to come.

Newsletter January 23rd-27th

Magic House Field Trip -- Thursday, February 26th
Need Permission slip by Monday in order to give the Magic House 
a count of parents and students attending.
Parents are welcome and needed to help with activities; 
please submit your payment with your child.
Students: $6
Parents: $3

Students will ride the bus leaving at 8:40 a.m.
Parents can meet us at the Magic House around 8:55 a.m.
We will leave the Magic House at 10:30 a.m. and return to school.
If you would like to take your child from the Magic House
please check out with Mrs. Endorf before leaving.

100th day of school on Wednesday!!
Please have 100 items to share with the class on Wednesday.
They may be food items if they are nut free.
